Vietnam – Phong-Nha National Park
Phong Nha is an adventurer’s paradise. Millions of years of flooding have created some of the world’s largest caves, along with stunning rivers, hiking trails and more.
Located approximately 525 km south of Hanoi, this is an off the beaten track destination which most travelers to Vietnam tend to miss. Possibly due to the nearest airport being 36 km away and the fact the primary reason for going is the caving and trekking activities. Phong-Nha National Park has something in the vicinity of 300 – 400 caves throughout it’s vast spread of jungle covered, karst terrain. Of this approximately 40 have been developed for tourism.
